My New Age Group

Pin It So here I am...35. I woke up this morning in a new age group.  I'm officially in the 35-44 year old age group.  You know, it's that age group that is older than 34 but younger than 45 on all those forms you have to fill out.  I'm in that "middle age" age group.  Yep, that's the group.  I call it middle age because let's face it - if I double the upper part of this age group I will be 88.  So yep, I'm in that "middle age" age group. And I'm betting that most of you are in this group or pretty close to this group too!

I am also going to officially say that I'm in my mid-thirties and WILL be until I am 40.  There are NO upper 30's!! I'm not sure if Blogger will be around the whole time I'm in this new age group but I've never been the type of person to continue with something for longer than 3 weeks.  So I'm challenging myself to keep at this.

What will I write? I'm not sure.  A little of this and a little of that.  I've spent some time looking back at the last age group and what all happened in my life.  There's been both positive and negative aspects of my life.  I've learned some things too in that previous age group.

I graduated from college - not once, but twice.  That's right! I have my Bachelor's and my Master's.  I have some amazing friends too.  I love the people I work with.  I also love my job (most days!). I have one person that I can call my BFFL (pronounced "biffle") and she certainly is my Best Friend For Life! I have a wonderful family - I couldn't ask for anyone better to be related too. Looking back that's what I have - my family and my friends. I've learned that my life isn't just what I make of it, my life is also about how I make a difference in the lives of others.
